About Cory Parsons
CONCEPT ART / MODELING / ILLUSTRATION

I began drawing at an early age as a way of personally connecting with the interesting things around me. I knew my career path should then lead toward art, so I followed it from Point Pleasant High to East Tennessee State University, where I earned my BS in Digital Media and Fine Art.

Today, my work is driven strongly by emotion. My inspiration begins with flow or how your eyes move through the piece, then taps into both the heart and fringes of imagination to reflect on the detail of every flowing stroke, expressive color, deepening perspective, and arresting composition.

Home is Point Pleasant, along the Ohio river in West Virginia, where I intermittently enjoy working on our 670 acre farm, drawing, playing tennis, and finding new music/films to entertain my in depth persona.

My whole life I have been driven solely by what I can create. The ordinary has always been boring to me, so I try to avoid the cliche. This is why my style is more so what I can combine or generate from new ideas. I am searching for the right position that can entertain my active mind and illustrative intuition.

If you are interested in my illustration, 3d, or concept work, I am available for upcoming positions.
